The Environmental Noise Directive concerning evaluation and management of noise level in the environment (END) as well as other national regulations require evaluating traffic noise and defining the range of its impact and through this – a number of inhibitants affected by noise.

European and national regulations require regular traffic noise evaluation and takings steps to reduce noise level. Traffic noise analysis is the biggest part of the LEMITOR activities. It includes the most complicated projects, especially in vibrant and complex urban areas. Each project is adjusted to the client’s needs, however each of them includes basic elements like noise measurements, traffic flow factors, DTM and GIS data. Modelling and calculations are prepared using professional software (SoundPlan or CadnaA).
