New investments come with high requirements
regarding the safety and well-being of local communities. Safety is understood
in terms of both health and quality of life. Consequently, addressing acoustic
nuisances and their impact on local residents becomes a crucial aspect of
planning and executing such investments.
Project Overview:
Kraj: Serbia
Region: Braničevo, Nišava, Pčinja, Belgrade
Klient: Road Administration (J.P. Petevi Srbije)
Rok: 2016
Czas trwania: 2 months
Nature of Work:
In Serbia, new infrastructure projects, particularly in road construction, require an assessment of acoustic impacts. This type of analysis is essential to ensure the safety and comfort of residents and to implement appropriate measures to minimize road noise. The project consisted of four tasks, each covering sections of varying lengths and locations. The execution of the contract was tailored to the client’s specific needs and included key elements such as noise measurements, traffic intensity analysis, numerical terrain models (DTM), and GIS data. Modeling and calculations were carried out using SoundPLAN software, which enabled precise determination of acoustic impacts and the development of effective noise reduction solutions..
